Payment Options and Terms - Easy and Convenient
At The Mopping Duck®, we make it easy to pay for our services. We accept a variety of payment methods, including:
- Credit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover
- Digital Payments: Zelle, Venmo
- Traditional Payments: Cash, Check
Payment Terms
- Full Payment Due: Payment is due within 15 days of service completion.
- Automatic Credit Card Charge: A credit card number must be kept on file with our office. Your credit card will be automatically charged the full amount due upon completion of service.
- Alternate Payment Methods: If you prefer to use an alternate payment method, please discuss it with us in advance of your service visit.
Payment Policies
- Returned Check Fee: A $45 fee will be charged for each returned check.
We're committed to making payment easy and convenient. If you have any questions or concerns about our payment options or terms, please don't hesitate to ask.
Understanding Chargeable Labor Hours
At The Mopping Duck®, we want to ensure that you understand how we calculate our labor hours. Our quoted clean time is based on labor hours, not clock hours.
- What is the difference?: Labor hours refer to the actual time spent working on your cleaning tasks, whereas clock hours refer to the total time spent on-site.
- How it works: If you schedule a 4-hour service with two Cleaning Techs, the total clock time (in-home time) may be 2 hours, but the total chargeable labor time is 4 hours.
This means that you will be charged for the actual labor performed, not just the time spent on-site. This ensures that you get a fair and accurate quote for our services. If you have any questions or concerns about our chargeable labor hours, please don't hesitate to ask.
Cancellation and Scheduling Changes
We understand that unexpected things can come up, and we're happy to accommodate changes to your schedule. However, we do have a few policies in place to ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality services to all of our clients.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. If we receive less than 48 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a $35 Late Cancellation Fee.
- Late Cancellation Fee: This fee applies if we have not yet sent a Cleaning Tech to your home and you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice.
- Lock-Out Fee: If we dispatch a Cleaning Tech to your home and are unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to charge a $55 Lock-Out Fee to cover our losses.
Important Note: To avoid any possible misunderstandings, please contact our office directly to make any scheduling changes. Our Cleaning Techs are not authorized to make changes to your schedule. We're here to help and look forward to working with you!
